This Privacy Policy explains how My Financial Counsel, Inc. (“MFC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, processes, and shares personal data gathered from individuals outside our company, such as current or potential customers and other business partners; applicants for employment with us; and visitors of our website located at and related subdomains (the “Site”) (collectively referred to as “you” or “your”).Personal data (or personal information) is any information about or that relates to you – an identifiable natural person.   • Market our products and services – you may opt out of marketing communications by contacting us or clicking “Unsubscribe” in the applicable email

  • Process, pay and issue invoices
  • Conduct credit checks
  • Conduct interviews and evaluate applicants and potential financial advisors

Cookies/Usage Data

When you visit the Site, we log and store your IP address and technical information about your visit like your browser type and other common analytics information (“Usage Data”). We use Google Analytics, Facebook Custom Audience Tool, or other third party technology to collect general demographic information about your Site visit.

  • IT and cloud service providers to store and secure your personal data
  • Email processors to send you emails and communicate with you
  • Payment processors to collect your fees and process payments
  • Analytics and measurement partners to help us improve the Services

Please note that we do not have control over the data that is processed by any financial advisor engaged through our Services. You should request each financial advisor’s own privacy policies prior to engagement and contact the financial advisor regarding any of your personal data they may store or process.

Internation Transfers

We currently do not accept customers from outside the United States, and we will take reasonable steps to delete any data we receive from outside the United States. If you provide us data from outside the United States, it will necessarily be transferred to the United States for processing and storage.

The Site may, from time to time, contain links to and from third party websites. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for their policies. Please check the individual policies before you submit any information to those websites.
